We may call “Cinnamon” as the Queen of all Spices. Which reveals from the ‘characteristic superior quality” of it’s own! Rich and strongly aromatic, pleasant and sweet in flavour, warm but hardly bitter… all these attributes are been crowned with it’s very own distinctive Spicy Fragrance. The affinity between ‘Cinnamon’ and ‘Ceylon’(Sri Lanka) is so strong and close that the botanical term “Cinnmomum Zeylanicum” is derived from the ‘Pearl of the Indian Ocean’s’ traditional name.

CINNAMON PROCESSMENT:  When cinnamon trees had completed three years of existence, a year after pruning the bark is harvested, usually twice a year. Cinnamon is always harvested as soon as the rainy season ends. The reason behind is the rain
soaked bark can be stripped easily from the trees. The bark is scraped and peeled in a very précised manner. The peeled bark is
stuffed in a long bark and long barks into longer barks… forming as if a Telescope! The quality and standards are well maintained in length and circumference.

Cinnamon owes a distinctive ‘Spicy Fragrances’ to a “Volatile Oil” that contains. The Cinnamon Oil is distilled in Copper Stills from
‘Off-Grade Barks, Leaves and Roots. Cinnamon peeling has been a State-of-the-Art technique in our plantations. Just as the pleasant effect on the surroundings from the scented air with sweet and spicy fragrance. The Cinnamon peelers stand out from the regular growers, as they maintain ‘high standards’ in processing the Bark. This has handed down almost unchanged rom ancient times, one generation to another till date, which we pronounce, “The Traditional Trade Technique!”

Even today, Sri Lanka (Ceylon) holds the world’s leading source of Cinnamon by it’s traditional touch of quality and grades. Cinnamon can be consumed to enhance and flavour foods, which brings out Tasty Dishes… to produce Pharmaceuticals… enchant Cosmetics… and many other applications which are well known by the masters who knows the Art of Cinnamon Usage!
